Chicago (17th ed.) Style Guide: Help with Chicago Style

An introductory guide to creating notes and bibliography entries in accordance with the 17th edition of the Chicago Manual of Style (2017).

Copies of the The Chicago Manual of Style are located: 1) in the Reserve Collection at the library's front desk; and 2) in the reference collection on the library's 2nd floor (Ref Z 253 .U69 2017). They are available for in-library use only.

    • Always a good starting point for solving your Chicago-related problems.

    • Provides timely assistance with use of the Chicago style manual, with formatting Chicago style references, and with the related use of citation management software Zotero. Assists students with typical questions and difficulties that don't necessitate the more extensive services provided by The Writing Center (see below).
