Joining the Challenge
In order to officially sign up for the challenge and be eligible to win prizes, you need to do 2 things:
- pick up a Library Challenge Passport at the Library Service Desk
- complete the signup form located on the page for Mission 1.
The Missions
- The First Year Library Challenge is made up of a series of missions that will require you to make use of library resources or services. You will need to visit the library to complete some of the missions. The missions should be completed in order, as the later missions build on your earlier experiences. Some missions will take time to complete, so don't wait until the last minute to start!
Challenge Timeline
- The Challenge begins on Monday, August 31st.
- You may complete the challenges at any time before the deadline, but some missions will take time to complete, so don't wait until the last minute to start!
- The deadline for completing the missions and turning in your challenge booklet is 7:00pm on Thursday, October 1st.
- Grand Prize winner will be notified by Wednesday, October 7, 2020.
Completing the Challenge and Prizes
- In order to be eligible for prizes, you must Submit all Challenge forms by 7:00PM on October 1st..
- Completing all 8 missions with correct answers and turning in your Library Challenge Passport before the deadline will earn you class points and an entry into the grand prize drawing
- After the conclusion of the Challenge, if everyone in the class turned in a Passport with 100% of the missions completed, You will receive a coupon for a free ice cream treat that can be redeemed by visiting your Personal Librarian.
